We all know the story of Job. He was an upright man, blameless - TopicsExpress

We all know the story of Job. He was an upright man, blameless before God and he feared God. He was a very wealthy man with sons, daughters, much livestock and wealth. “…..have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil.” Job 1:8 At first when you read this verse, you wonder why, if Job was such a great man, did God allow satan to torment him? If you continue reading the book of Job you find that Job lost everything except his health, in just one day. Losing his health came another day!!! How did Job react? How would YOU react if it happened to you? “…he fell to the ground and worshiped…” Job 1:20 For the next few weeks we will be studying warfare. The thing about this study, it won’t cause warfare to come upon you, it will teach you HOW to stand firm in the day of warfare. We will ALL face warfare many times in our lives. There is nothing than satan wants more than to destroy your witness, or to destroy you. Warfare wears many different faces…..cancer, chemo, financial ruin, lost relationships, divorce, wayward children……no matter what your warfare looks like, we all have a choice to make. We can allow satan to destroy us or we can stand firm in the power of Jesus Christ, allow HIM to fight for us, and WIN………..how do you know if you win? When you do as Job, fall on face in the midst of warfare and worship JESUS!!! Stick with me friends……………there is nothing I want more than to help you all to see satan for what and who he is….and to teach you HOW to stand firm in the power and strength of Jesus Christ. Until tomorrow……………….. sheridywalker
