We all think that things are worse in our lives than the next - TopicsExpress

We all think that things are worse in our lives than the next person. Ethan and I came home yesterday via the hospital after visiting his godmother who 6 years ago beat breast cancer, only to now find that the cancer has come back in her spine, chest and brain and to top it off she is now paralised from the waist down with Gillian Barr sydrome. It was hard seeing her mum there and feeling for her, no parent wants to or should have to bury a child, regardless of how old they are. Debbie Hickson is 53 years old with a husband and 3 grown children and 6 beautiful grandchildren, she has the most vibrant attitude towards her illness and is now waiting for the next few months to tick by without any self sorrow. My memories of lots of good times, having many a drink and celebrating because somewhere sometime there was always some occasion that needed our attention with a clink of the glass or jar what ever we had, and of course getting into mischief, these will always be a part of my life. See u on my next visit Deb and I know it will always be a Rum n Coke.xxxxoooo
