We all want to be the Head and not the Tail, because the Father says that he will make us the Head and not the tail IF...if we read the verse in context of the surrounding scriptures to put it into perspective. In other words we have a part to play in this Blessing coming from our Father, it is not because you called on the Name of Jesus or you call yourself a Christian, a Jew or Messianic or any other religious title we want to use. Read all of Deuteronomy 28 Then you will have the proper understanding of How the Father will make us the Head and not the Tail. But just to give you an idea Deuteronomy 28:12-14 The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. 13 And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you HEED the COMMANDMENTS of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are Careful to Observe them. 14 So you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right or the left, to go after other gods to serve them. Then immediatly after verse 14 comes the Curse for Disobedience. Just Something to think about.
