We always hear the advice NOT to speak about Politics and/or Religion ...and I always get a chuckle seeing how passionate we can all become. - and thats okay!! I believe we all have the right to our own perceptions - besides, what good does it do anyone when their views are ignored and someone elses are shoved down their throats? I have learned (and still struggle at times) to respect the rights of others and while I may not agree - I have the CHOICE to move away from them if it gets too uncomfortable. I have also learned that just because someone has a belief different than my own AND if/when we disagree, again, I have the CHOICE NOT to take it personally and/or judge them and/or hate them and/or delete them from my life. I HAVE chosen to love them - as my equal, as my brother or sister - for although each of us are individual expressions of Creation ...at the end of the day - WE ARE ALL ONE ...and to judge one, or fight one, or hate one is to judge, fight or hate all, including ourselves and most importantly He who created everything that ever was, is and will be. So, agree or not - no worries ....imagine, however, loving ourselves and all life - regardless of view/perception - for AS we learn to love ourselves, then we are able to love others...all life and at that point, all this other stuff falls away, having been made moot. I know, its not easy and its not instantaneous and it takes work --- many will call it stupid and impossible (for them, they will be exactly right). But as a wise man/bug once said they say that Im a dreamer but Im not the only one (John Lennon was a Beatle - not an actual beetle) -- as always, dont just believe me --- try it out for yourself ...I look forward to hearing the results.
