We are a huge community, we can pull together and help this couple just by chipping in a couple dollars each. I got into a car accident about 3 weeks ago and totaled my truck. First accident of my 32 year life. Unfortunately it will not be covered by insurance. I was recently laid off from Samsung. Now, because my fiance has a full time job about 45 minutes away from our home we are stuck renting a hotel room across the street from her job so she wont lose it. We have been here everyday for over 3 weeks. We have have been completely sober and in a recovery program for almost 3 years. We have been approved for a new vehicle but our down payment is $800. We are very seriously struggling to pay the hotel everyday on her tips and paycheck so we are barely able to put anything aside for the down payment. I have tried every church and charity in town and no one has funds. Iam afraid that within two weeks we will be put out on the street and she will have end up losing her job. We have never been homeless or starving and we are very seriously facing both. I have a degree from the university of Tennessee but am having trouble locating employment and now that we dont have a vehicle iam terrified. I have even broke down and asked the Lord to just take my life so that I dont have to live with this pain anymore. Iam not suicidal but I can see the appeal that it has when all hope seems to be lost. We have no family to turn to for help. Iam begging that people say a prayer for us. And maybe someone or some kind of miracle will happen very soon so that we can make the down payment and not end up homeless. I have never ever stepped out and wrote anything even close to this in public but iam desperate. There are many business peopl, celebrities, churches, and athletes out there with hundreds of millions of dollars and our lives may be in the gutter over $800. Please I know through prayer and community there is a miracle out there for us. Please lord help us.
