We are actively seeking a VFX Pipeline Developer on behalf of our client, an innovative Vancouver area company. This is a full-time, 12 month contract position working on multiple exciting projects with a well-established, respected company with offices globally. In this role you will play a key role in creating and supporting a very large, cutting edge visual effects pipeline. Responsibilities will include: Re-factoring and improving existing database (data flow and API’s) and infrastructure software Your technical background and experience includes: • 4+ years’ experience • Computer Science Degree or equivalent • Experience with Python, algorithms and data structures • Proficient working in UNIX/Linux • Knowledge of Maya, Max or other 3D graphic software • Experience with Bash, SQL, Ruby, Perl or javascript an asset Visa and relocation assistance provided.
