We are actually the product of our environment. A woman grew up in a family in Ekiti, studied sociology in UI and travelled out for further studies. While in Nigeria, she was so religious and remain a member of the Deeper life church preaching to the people and praying fervently. She was in USA and later Canada before going to work at the headquarters of world Bank in Switzerland. She came to Nigeria in 2007 and was surprised at the rate at which churches had flourish and discover the same set of people she preached had become more religious than her. She remained a committed christian today but the fervent spirit of religious beliefs and practice was no longer there as she said all those had been overtaken by time and events. She now prays every morning in her way to work. She threatened to sue churches in Nigeria whose noise at night disturb neighbours.
