We are allowed to start oral feed trials with Mason using thickened liquids! He hated it and cried quite a bit while I tried to feed him. Since he was refusing so much, I let the speech therapist do it and he let him feed him! There wasnt even a tear! Afterwards, he was given a prize and sticker. The therapist told me that the stuff Mason ate was marshmallow flavored so I decided to ask Mason if it was yummy and he said no lol We then had lunch together and then went into downtown to meet a Minneapolis City Council member where we had a great discussion and created a partnership. Phew! Half the day is done and now all that is left is Jienas yoga class and Eddisons Cub Scout meeting! Moms bed keeps calling and she cant wait to answer it!
