We are almost at the business end of the season for many teams and I would like to remind all coaches, trainers, managers, players and parents of their obligations under the code of conduct. I was advised at the Schoolboys meeting last week that poor behaviour will not be tolerated and Hunter Valley have advised that if there is any rubbish started by parents or team officials on the sideline of a game it will result in that team being removed from the competition for the remainder of the season and final series. For the little kids (6’s-9’s) Gala days are notorious for dramas and can be long days and quite demanding on everyone. We have had some complaints about the behaviour of our some of our kids on and off the field recently. Coaches/Trainers/Managers it’s your responsibility to monitor the kids behaviour on the field and parents it’s responsibility to monitor their behaviour off the field. Breaching the code of conduct is any behaviour that could bring this club into disrepute, either at training, club functions, home games or when visiting other clubs in our competition. Behaviour that is deemed unacceptable includes: - Abusive language targeting players, supporters, referees and officials. - Threats of violence or actual physical violence against any individual. - Incidents of vandalism or harassment of our neighbours and their properties. - Any incidents that the committee deems detrimental to the reputation of the club. So enjoy the last few weeks of the season and remember there are no Sheep’s Stations on offer as the grand prize, its kids sport!!!! Go The Mighty Devils
