We are appealing for information following two incidents of arson on High Street, Abersychan. A shed was set alight on 18th December and a property was set alight on 20th December. Fortunately, no one was hurt in either incident and the fires were extinguished quickly. One man, 20 years old from Cwmbran, has been arrested on suspicion of arson and has been released on police bail pending further enquiries. Anyone with information, or anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area, is asked to call 101 quoting log 11 18/12/14 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
