We are back from Dreamhack Winter 2013 with mixed feelings! So, we got out of our group pretty easily and ended 1st, and then again we were to face one of the hardest opponents already in the quarterfinal, as they ended 2nd in their group. We lost the quarterfinal game 2-1 against Team VeryGames, but we really showed on inferno, and parts of mirage, that this team really has a lot of potential. With only 3 weeks of preperation I think we did okay, even though I honestly thought we should have won, but we struggled too much on mirage - a map that we havent had time to play that much, so we ran out of ideas and overall as CT we just didnt have the right teamplay to shut down the mighty frenchies. So the next couple of days are off until we will continue practice, and participate in a danish local event hosted by Gaming.dk the 14th of December in Copenhagen. We aim to win this without major problems. This team is by far the best I have played with, I think. The chemistry, even though we were a little bit dissapointed about the loss against VeryGames, we still had a great time together and we are all very motivated with this team, so we have realized that the key for success, is not only individual skill but also getting better as a team, so there wont be any changes in a long time, unless something unexpected occours, but I hope we can avoid that. We really want to improve our game, and I am sure in a few months, we will have a way more powerful gameplay. The next international event will most likely be the ESEA Invite Season 15 in Dallas in late January. If we qualify, we are going for sure, and theres only one goal: Winning. After the danish event, we will have a 2 weeks off to celebrate christmas and New Years eve, and then we will work hard for 2014! I hope that 2014 will bring us a lot more triumph and that this team will last for a long, long time. We surely have the potential to cause damage to anyone, once we get better as a team! I will update when we have our next officials, but so far I am just going to relax and test our some new gaming pheriphials that i got from SteelSeries, including the new RIVAL optical mouse :) pretty cool so far. Maybe I will play with it, if I think its fitting my hand! See you in 2014!!
