We are back from our Las Vegas Road trip. We drove 26 hours straight with a wonderful stop to explore the caves at the Cathedral Monument. We spent 2 nights on Freemont Street where we met up with friends and then spent 3 nights on the Vegas Strip where we relaxed poolside each afternoon, enjoying the warm weather and vitamin D. We rode the roller coaster in New York, New York and had some great laughs at the comedy club at Harrahs. From the get go on Freemont Street right to the end of the trip I was so lucky .... winning just over $4000. With these winnings we took the opportunity to see the Grand Canyon via helicopter. We landed on the bottom of the Canyon where we enjoyed some champagne and took about a million pictures. This place is AMAZING! It was our first helicopter ride and our first time to the Grand Canyon .... 2 ticks off the bucket list!!! We took our time (3 days) coming home, stopping to do a big shop at the Woodburn Outlet Mall. We feel so blessed to have had such great weather and being able to see so much (and winning is great too). Overall this trip only cost us $532 and we came home with so much, but most importantly we have memories to last a lifetime! I must add that my husband is the BEST travel partner. I enjoy his company soooo much! Enjoy the pics! XOXO
