We are back from the cruise. We had a lot of fun and a lot of adventures. Two that we didnt plan on though. On our way from the Cayman Islands to Jamaica our Captain informed us that we were going to rescue a boat that was stranded. Very long story short, we picked up 39 Cuban refugees. Two days later the Coast Guard picked them up. Yesterday, we were informed a passenger became seriously ill and would be airlifted back to New Orleans for medical treatment, so we watched this person being lifted in the air into a helicopter and taken to the hospital. I will post pictures soon but have to say I have a deeper appreciation for the Coast Guard.
