We are cloaked in sadness and grief this week following the loss of one of our own. Carolyn Van Cise, the mother, mentor, friend, supporter, coach, to Carrie Wilson passed away suddenly and unexpectedly earlier this week. Carolyn gave so much of herself to everyone around her - she was always present at the clinics and horse shows, usually in the background either holding a grandchild or braiding a horse while she kept her watchful eye on her students and everyone else. She became an much valued and important part of our clinics at the farm - she cooked up a storm, keeping everyone well fed and organized. But mostly, she was a wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all those lives she touched.
