We are coming close to the end of 2014, and I cant help but be - TopicsExpress

We are coming close to the end of 2014, and I cant help but be hopeful at what 2015 has to bring. As we sit and discuss our new goals, I am thankful for 2014 (the good and the bad.) There has been much sadness this past year, from the death of my father in law, a hysterectomy, my husbands health declined, division within the family, etc. All of that being said, there has been even more joyful moments this past year. Daniel was medically retired, we were able to visit Galveston twice, Mount Rushmore, and Colorado twice. We were able to enjoy a big family vacation with my mother and my brother and his family. We have greatly enjoyed this Christmas season. We joined the most awesome church on the planet and have started to plan where we will plug in to help. There is so much to be thankful for even when times are hard. I say all of this because my life is not perfect. Facebook can give such a false impression of what a persons life is like, but reality is, life is hard. It may be hard, but we all have beauty within the trials. Thank you friends and family for sharing in my 2014 journey . I look forward to our journey this next year. 2015 will be the year of restoration.
