We are constantly getting asked Why are all of the dogs you post not good with kids? or Are bulldogs in general not good with kids?. The answer is as follows: We only post SOME of the dogs that come into rescue. There are plenty more that you dont see posted, that is why we always encourage people to fill out an application. We have very strict rules with adopting out dogs to homes with small children. We DO NOT want to risk your children or the dog getting hurt. If a dog comes in with a bad history with children, or no history with children, we will not adopt out to a home with children. Just like with any dog, it is about how the dog is socialized from when it is a pup. In most cases bulldogs are great with kids, but in rescue, we do not get to pick what comes in. Hopefully this clears up some of the questions. Thanks for your support!
