We are dealing with people here folks, no one is perfect. FLW, Bass, or any orginization holding the tournament should set the rules from the front of the boat to the rear. End of conversation between boater and non-boater. Remember there is a jerk on both ends of the line at any given time. Bass fishing is a very expensive sport. Most of what you see in the professional field is people that are well off if not rich. Some of them struggle to keep their heads above water. Fishing a tournament trail can be very hard and exausting even if your winnning. I am seeing and hearing on and off the water comments about lack of respect and considersation of people on the lake we all have a right to be there. I believe tournatment rules have to be very strick and people held accountable for their actions and language on and off the water....... I also believe tournatments need to go to an electronic weighing system done by marshalls in the boat to oversee overall performace of the pro.... thus elemnating a back of the boat fisherman. The reason for electronic weighing that post the weight back to the tournament sight and all fish would be released where they were caught. Reason..... there is to much pressure on the fish and to many schools of fish being broken up and too many fish dying. Ky lake is a good example of this not to mention too many tournaments being held on any given lake. We need to preserve our lakes and future fishing. As for tournament fishing..... there needs to be a better system and rules to protect all. I have done my share of tournaments they need to be improved now if not yesterday...... starting to get out of control from every aspect.
