We are excited that Jennifer Gordon, director of Carolina Waterfowl Rescue, will be joining us in February for Georgia Wildlife Rescue Associations next Basic Emergency Care & Procedure for Injured or Orphaned Wildlife class! Heres more info about the class: Its an intensive one-day class. Participating organizations include: The Androcles Society Carolina Waterfowl Rescue Florida Keys Wild Bird Center Georgia Department of Natural Resources Georgia Sea Turtle Center Southwest Georgia Technical College St. Francis Wildlife Association US Fish & Wildlife Service We will be working with some of the hotels to get special rates for those of you who will need to stay overnight. The course will be divided into sessions with some of the most experienced and knowledgeable people in the world of wildlife rehabilitation. Sessions include: * Small mammals * Large Mammals * Raptors (hawks, owls, eagles, etc...) * Sea Birds, Waterfowl and Wading Birds * Songbirds, Woodland Birds, etc... * Turtles & Tortoises * Other Reptiles & Amphibians This will be a fantastic class!
