We are going to be needing everyones prayers this coming week. This morning I spoke with ENT. Liam is scheduled for his consult next Thursday is Madison. As we were speaking because of Liams past complications and this being a very complicated surgery, Liam needs to be the right candidate for the operation. Because of Liams premature development of his lungs this could cause issues along the way. There are only a few surgeons in Wisconsin who do airway reconstruction in pediatrics. My fingers are crossed. This would be a minimum of 4 hours in surgery along with a closely monitored stay in the PICU. Im praying this will be my last hurdle to becoming Trach free. If liam is the right candidate surgery would be placed for 2 to 3 weeks after our consult. Which means he will miss his first trick or treating :( But I will do what it takes. He deserves to be a kid just like anyone else. Please help with positive thoughts, prayers and whatever else you can do!! Thanks team! GO LIAM GO!!!!!
