We are going to crash tonight. After many many phone calls and lots of gratitudes, weve moved Joanie to a great rehab facility, her own room, she so desperately needs to rest, nurses were there waiting for her, rehab meets with her tomorrow to set up her program. I had to go back to the other place because they didnt send her pain medication, so now she is back on track and can start rehab like it should have been two days ago. The reason we didnt choose home health care was because of the health issues, the set backs, her now bad knee (the other one) has been popping out up to the surgery and the fact that she wants to get the other done as soon as she is strong enough, therefore good solid rehab plan needs to be in place. Rehab offers multiple sessions per day vs 2-3 per week home health care. After she gets a good strong base, then we will have home health care come in.
