It is a great opportunity to see an interesting, farm/estate based diverse business who is really making the best of its resources and shortening the supply chain. Its also a great chance to catch up with friends.\It is in a beautiful area and the autumn colours will be at their best. Green Cow kitchen is headed up by Joe Evans, who after a career in banking fulfilled a long standing ambition to run a first class restaurant and came to the family estate to do just this. Mickey Provis is Head Chef and has been a keen cook for most of his life and after completing a psychology degree in London he decided to put his enthusiasm and talent into Green Cow Kitchens. He views ingredient provenance and quality as fundamental basics in the process in producing stunning food. As well as a passion for creating mouthwatering meals he also enjoys country sports such as fishing and shooting and working his two spaniels. Networking Lunch Agenda for Wednesday October 29th 2014: 11:00 - Arrival for coffee followed by a talk and tour of the Green Cow business 12:30 - A 2 course lunch, consisting of: Roast Organic Beef, Yorkshire Pudding, Red Wine Gravy, Crispy Roast Potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Apple and Calvados Crumble with chefs caramelised apple ice cream, cider and thyme jelly and candied nuts.
