We are in for a long, long ride, my friends. If you thought the last two years were bad with Republicans blocking every move the President made, wait til you see what happens now. As our nation slowly swirls down the drain, Republicans will continue to block anything that comes up, job programs, anything that helps the poor, cabinet or judgeship positions that need to be filled, you name it. What makes it worse is they have absolutely no viable candidate for President in 2 years, so whatever Democratic candidate comes up, it will not change. We are looking at a minimum of 4 more years of this do nothing Congress. The only thing that will solve it is a strong independent candidate but after witnessing this election and the dumbasses we have all become, I have zero hope of that. I have friends that will read this and immediately jump on the thought that I am somehow defending President Obama here, but I am not. If he were a strong leader he could have used the mandate he was given by the American people to lead our nation but instead is weak, ineffectual and is being led by the nose by all the corporate entities he was elected to fight against. I do not in any way want Hillary Clinton as president, that ship has sailed and will make things worse. You think the vicious slandering of Obama was something? The racist hatred spewed in the name of free speech? Wait until the Republican hate machine gets Hillary in their sights. Good job, America! You thought you had a do nothing Congress before? Wait til you see what doesnt get done now. The ironic thing is, by taking control of the Congress the Republicans have killed their chance to take the Presidency in 2016, because at that point they will have to show they have actually DONE something, but that is not in their plans. Down we go. Enjoy the ride, America, this is what you wanted, now live with it.
