Ok, last time for Emi Sunshine. Jim Barile re posted this, which is the one that got to me. I hope she simply continues doing what she is doing, without handlers other than her Dad and uncles who seem to make up her band and mentors. No lessons, no coaching, no formatting and staging; she already knows what to do, and puts it all over very, very well. I am putting her on my twerkwatch list, meaning her daddy is in for strict eternal torment in hades if he allows the people who handled Brittany Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Miley Cyrus anywhere near this gal. Or even puts her on Idol. She will be fine, and well known without any of that. She reminds me of a 70s Rolling Stone Magazine interview with Jerry Garcia, who was asked who his favorite female singer was. He said, youll probably never hear of her, but theres this little gal near Nashville who sings writes and sings as good or better than anyone.....I think her name is Dolly Parton. Actually, Ronstadt and Streisand were naturals as well. We need more of those. And Steve, who wrote this good song, I gather, is pretty fortunate to have an artist like this do it such justice.
