We are in the home stretch now. I have been checking the tricomes on the plant daily. Friday the tricomes went from clear to a milky color. You can look at them under a pocket microscope. I can now start flushing the plant of nutrients. Flushing means, you just give it pH balanced water (5.8-6.1) and molasses only. No more fertilizer is required. You don’t want to be smoking fertilizer. I flush my plant at least a week and half, to two weeks to be sure the plant is purged of nutrients. In the mean time, I am preparing quart sized jars for the curing process. I have also purchased a couple packs of Boveda humidity controlling packs. I recommend these for the final storage of your hard earned flower. These packs are a great tool for keeping the flowers stored until ready for use.
