We are looking for a National Sales Manager Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania Profile Our client is part of a giant group of companies from the region, which has a huge investment portfolio in petroleum, maize & wheat milling, mineral water, a diverse foods manufacturing and distribution (among others) Their appetite for growth is supported by the market demand for their products , and hence they are urgently looking for a National Sales Manager, to drive their growth agenda with velocity. The Job • The National Sales Manager will be responsible for the Juice wing of the food division • The Juice product portfolio comes in a variety of flavors that are widely distributed in the region. An additional line of products is scheduled to be launched in the very near future • The National Sales Manager will develop and drive Sales strategy for growth in the region, and for export; they will lead a sales team, ensuring optimal resource availability and utilization; develop and support the teams to achieve growth targets; manage distributor operations for optimal market penetration, achieve define volumes and numeric distribution; Be on point in Market intelligence, and manage effective new product launches, as and when, in the local as well as regional markets. The Person • You are a Hunter, creative and hungry for results, with a wow growth record to boot. • You are a master negotiator, great communicator, an inspiring team leader and achiever of results. • You are a sales professional, with (minimum) 5 years experience with FMCG and at least 2 years sales team leadership experience, working with defined revenue targets. • You hold a degree from a recognized university; and you are fully mobile, and willing to relocate.
