We are not a perfect nation. None ever are. However,just because a good many of us wont kowtow to Cowardice does not make us evil either. When you try to please everyone, guess what...you appease only those whose real intention is to reduce yourselves to their degraded level. Thou shalt not kill works only if the other side believes in it too. Most of time nowadays , turning the other cheek, gives your oppressor more ammunition to keep hitting you. Social Justice is an oxymoron for revenge for something you didnt do. Affirmative Action is the same thing. When you have to justify your actions by using grandoise titles awarded by academia in long winded paragraphs, you have learned nothing at all, except bullying by another name. When you do the same citing that you know someone who... then you are doing the same. Living by anothers accomplishments is no way to live with pride in what you yoursself are capable of. You neednt have to move mountains, to be content on life. Being a nobody doesnt have to mean that you are nobody.
