We are not in this world only to try to please ourselves. There is a reason why we are in this world temporarily and there is a reason why there is death. There is a reason why this world is not Heaven, and that it is saved as a reward for those who strive for it. This world is all a testing place and we have a really great exam to pass. Soon our soul will be pulled from our body and the veil from the unseen will start to be removed, and we will see beings (Angels) we had never seen before. And at that point, all that will matter is if you had passed the exam and fulfilled the duties of your Lord and followed the commands. And you will go through an interrogation process and either be punished and tortured, or you will receive the great news of Heaven and a most extraordinary world will start to open.
