We are not posting an obituary in the papers since mom didnt know anyone here, and we feel it necessary to post one anywhere else.. The funeral home is posting one on their site online but here is the one I wrote.... Donna Jean Clasen On July 30, 2014, Donna Jean Clasen (Ten-Brink) passed away. She was 69 years old. Donna was born April 28, 1945 in Denver, Colorado to Olive Alberta Ten-Brink (Hadley) and Johannes ten-Brink and was the oldest of six children. She graduated from East High School and also from Barnes Business College in Denver and Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska. Donna worked as a data entry operator early in Denver, Colorado and until she retired she worked as a CNA and Alzheimer’s Tech at the Hearthstone Nursing home in York, Nebraska. She enjoyed being involved in church activities, crocheting, painting and watching Pirates of the Caribbean. She was an avid Johnny Depp fan, especially when he played Captain Jack Sparrow. She was also the oldest living female in her family. Donna is proceeded in death by her parents, her sister Jackie (Wayne) Starks, nephew Matthew Donovan, her Aunt Clara (Buck) Poole, and a grand-daughter Valerie Renae Beare. She is survived by her children, Beverly (Rick) Beare, Rebecca (John) Falzarano, four siblings- Steve (Nancy) Tenbrink, Allen Ten-Brink, Shirley Kincaid, and half-sister Elizabeth Palmer. Also survived by eight grandchildren- Richard (Fonda) Beare, Ashley (Scott) Galloway, Angela (Bobby) Keene, Joshua (Nancy) Beare, Jonathan (Mikayla) Kolterman, Felicia (William) Markworth, Robert Kolterman, and Dylan Bracey as well as twelve great-grandchildren- Ashlynn and Kaylee Beare; Alexandra and Jaxon Galloway; Bobby and Matisyn Keene; Star and Lydian Beare; Julian, Corbin, and Elena Markworth; and Kiari Kolterman as well as her mom’s brother Charles Hadley. Plus all the nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
