We are now in Iceland. Had one night in Reykjavik with colourful houses, trendy cafes with outdoor eating(bit cold for me) and a fun atmosphere. Even a funeral procession for a TV! Then the "Golden Circle" drive to the south. This included geysers, boiling pools, national park with huge rift and low lake, massive waterfalls and stunning volcanic landscape. We spent a few days near Vic in the south. It has black beaches, puffins and spectacular lava formations. Today walked on a glacier with crampons and ice picks. The highlight was climbing through a moulin (ice cave or tunnel). Exciting stuff!
