We are on the road with Scooby all packed up and Hilton as comfy as can be. Left Laidley (Laidley Showgrounds is where the pic was taken) and started to head in the general direction of Perth WA, via some NSW Gold Fields (so not directly heading west). Figured we would drop in via Adelaide and catch up in a few weeks time, however we have been offered a Caretaking job at a Campgrounds/Caravan Park in southern NSW Coastal area, at a place called Dalmeny. Position is for both Brenda & I starting next Wednesday, with a committment through to early February 2015 -- so, we will not be dropping in via Adelaide after all, at least not until 2015. This job is a start at the bottom of the ladder for us - in the Caravan Park managing field, so we will get experience and references from this position, as well as hands on with the Reservation Management System Database used in the industry. Pay is minimal unfortunately, but is is a start. The location looks brilliant on the website dalmenycampground.au/ We are currently in Nundle, NSW, so heading off in the morning towards Dalmaney, which is south of Batemens Bay, and just north of the Victorian Border.
