We are planning on running a number of 7 a side tournaments from Monday 8th - Saturday 13th July. They are as follows: Return of the Street League. Under 13 and Under 15 street league tournament. 10 players per team (7 a side matches with rolling subs) - you play for your own estate or nearest estate. There will be a number of group games finishing with a semi final and final for each age group. If interested please let us know and tag any friends who would be interested so we can assign managers to each team. If any parents would like to coach their own estate we would be more than happy for this. Lets bring the street league back! Under 30 and Over 30 Street League: For those who played in street leagues gone past we will be running an under 30 and over 30 street league. The teams will be as follows: Station Avenue / Dundrinne Oakland / Mourne Gardens Crescent / Drumee The out of Towners Anyone interesting in playing in this under 30 and over 30 event please let us know. You will represent the team you played for in years gone by. Can I ask for a volunteer for each area to take charge of recruiting their squad. Please tag players to spread the word. Pub League: The return of the Summer pub league with a team from Maginns Castlewellan, Mulhollands Castlewellan, Mooneys Bar and Castlewellan Gac. All teams are to be made of 10 players who have not played soccer for the last 3 years for any club. If you are interested, please let us know and nominate a player manager for each bar. These tournaments will take place during the week at the 3G pitch with the semi final and finals taking place on Saturday 13th July at the Bann Road playing fields.
