After a great deal of testing with various brands and the Civic Cup Birkett team completing the test with 6hrs of racing at Silverstone the NS2R was given its seal of approval! Nankang Tyre UK will be supping registered drivers at a fantastic rates and have technical help on hand at events. 2014 Civic Cup runner up Rob Baker quoted: Weve ran these and pretty much every semi slick available on the market and were very impressed with the results, we had no drop off in performance over our 20 min race sessions with excellent grip and feedback. The fact that they come with 7mm of tread, and dont go off like the other brands Id say theyre a bargain. We did 3hours racing in a day at Silverstone and they still have 4-5mm remaining and look in great shape with no un-even tread or deformed surface wear.
