We are pleased to announce that together with the Ecosystem Science and Management Extension unit, we have released a new app for iphone and ipad called GrazingCalc. This app is a stocking rate calculator for cattle, horses, goats, and sheep. It is based on measured forage production, so it is applicable everywhere and is a great tool for maintaining agricultural productivity while enhancing wildlife habitat and water conservation on private lands. This app is available for only $0.99 at the itunes store along with 8 other apps related to feral hog and fish pond management.
