We are posting three beautiful rescued horses as a courtesy for another rescue who needs to place them as soon as possible. Jasper: chestnut 7 y.o. quarter cross gelding, approx. 14 hands, front feet growth is club-footed but not severe enough to make him unsound; very personable temperament. Could possibly be trained to carry a child and be ridden lightly. Tends to be dominant in herd environments. Scooter: 7 y.o. blood bay Standardbred with freeze band; scoliosis of the spine, was diagnosed by Cherise Neu in June/July 2007 and evaluation was very positive; he requires no special care or medications. Deva: brown/black mare approx. 10 years old; has bad knee-shinned appearance - doesnt require meds. Does not appear she has ever been ridden. Very headshy from prior abuse but with patience and kindness will let you halter her or put a fly mask on. Is more dominant in a herd structure.
