We are proud to announce the creation of the new Federation Office of Humanitarian Services. This new offices will be headed by long-time Federation veteran Harold Curtice. Harold last served on a fleetwide level in our Special Services office. We will be building this department from the ground up and Harold is free to create departments within his area. In our vision, this department will coordinate disaster relief and public service campaigns as well as special services for our members and fans who need special support in areas of vision and hearing difficulties. At this time we are also assigning Barbara Cosgrove and Cathy Christy to his office. Both are adept at disaster relief and public service and both have some wonderful ideas and organizing skills. Welcome back to the team, Harold. And thank you for taking on this crucial role in the future of The Federation. Our humanitarian efforts were paramount in Gene’s vision for our purpose now and in the future.
