We are quick to speak on how someone is not acting the way we think they should, or they know better, or they are too old for this and that, because although it may not be inappropriate, it isnt how WE FEEL they should respond. We have to bei mindful that each of us is an individual, with different backgrounds, different upbringings, different exposure. Our response to THEM making an assessment about us, would be that they just dont understand. And we want empathy, if not sympathy, or leniency for our frame of reference.
