George was a tennis champion and recipient of numerous trophies for tennis in Beaver County. Years ago when actor Bill Cosby was in Beaver County, George was invited to play against him. He was very proud of all of his grandchildren and was fortunate to have his family all together this past July. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Freedom, and enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. He leaves his wife of 55 years, Wynne (Glontz) Hromanik, whom he married Aug. 16, 1958; two children, daughter, Tracy Hromanik and her partner, Darnell Parker, of Rochester, and a son, Paul Hromanik and his wife, Laura, of Folsom, Calif.; five grandchildren, Brooke, Aaron and Jamila Parker, all of Rochester, and Evan and Lucas Hromanik, of Folsom, Calif.; a sister, Dorothy Petrosky, of Duquesne; and a brother-in-law and his wife, Gary and Jean Glontz, of Roanoke, Va.
