We are really having fun with these pigs! We are trying all kinds of interesting experiments! The bare dirt picture is a paddock right after the pigs have finished rooting and turning it over. We planted turnips and fenced the pigs out of it into a fresh paddock. The green is an explosion of turnips now in that same paddock! How cool is that? And all done with no machinery or manual labor at all! The pigs did all the work for us, they plowed and fertilized the pasture at the same time and the turnips couldnt look better! We are going to let the turnips grow for another couple of weeks or a month and then turn the pigs back into them to fatten up right before we finish them!
