We are revealing as much as we can. Let us reiterate what we can release. There is a group of people who have been doing some very shady dealings in Real Estate. They have taken huge amounts of money from many many people. Essentially how it works is they get a loan for a construction project. They skim off the top, do substandard work to save money and pocket it. We have a deposition from state court where one of them admitted it under oath. Then they get investors and take THEIR money too. Unbeknownst to the investors, they never pay the loan payments. Then one day you find out the property is being foreclosed on and you have lost everything. Their assets are hidden. They have been sued multiple times and it either gets thrown out of court or even if you get a judgement you cant collect. They are protected by people who know and have known for years that this is going on. We have sent letters, made calls, filed various reports with local law enforcement and they do nothing. In most cases none of us even got a response. We have turned to federal officials now. This has been going on for years and years. All officials that any of us have talked to know it. They just will either do nothing or they protect them. We are saying enough is enough. What we are wanting is to see the corrupt officials who facilitate this kind of behavior gone and those responsible shown a prison cell. We want every citizen of this county to be treated fairly and justly. The good old boy system has gone unchecked for way way way too long. Its time someone took a stand. We decided to come together and do just that. We cannot give specific names right now because it is an active investigation. We would love nothing more than to do so. At the same time there are many other things that are occurring that need to be stopped also. There are many forms of corruption and they ALL need to be stopped. Some people have said they dont know what were trying to accomplish, that were too vague. Well here it is in a nutshell...If theyre not doing the right thing for the citizens, we want them gone!!!! If they are doing illegal things, we want them in jail! Its that simple. Along our way we have uncovered a lot of other crimes being committed and we want them held accountable for whatever they have done. We dont know any clearer way to put it.
