Crabtrees career began in Nashville with Hart & McBryde before founding own firm with Warren W. Taylor in 1952. Crabtree became a Fellow with the American Institute of Architects in 1983 and also served as the Vice Mayor of Belle Meade from 1988-1996. His papers are housed at the Nashville Public Library.
