We are studying how to find employment and as an exercise we wrote sample cover letters. Here was mine: Do you hate magic? Luke stark is not related to any famous celebrities. He has not seen europe, or france, but he has seen someones underpants. He likes long walks on the beach, picnics, and moonlit walks; he hates cliche dating activities. He has 2+ years of management experience, overseeing as many as 20 people. He has extensive knowledge of customer service techniques and theoretical knowledge of how to fight bears. He is a dedicated and hard worker is a consistent history of quick promotion. He would be a fantastic choice for any salon position, excluding snake wrangler, if that position is offered. He refers to himself in the 3rd person in cover letters but not in real life. -Luke Stark My teacher said it makes her feel conflicted but she laughed at least once while reading it, pretty sure that means i would have at least gotten the interview. Win.
