We are two months away from the 9th Annual Farm & Barn Fest on Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 10:00am-11:00pm at Yunker Farm (10824 W La Porte Road) in Mokena. This unique event gives all ages the opportunity to see and experience farm life through entertaining demonstrations such as sheep shearing, blacksmithing, wood carving and more from 10:00am-5:00pm. A delicious spread of food from local restaurants including steam engine corn will catch the taste buds of festival goers, while entertained with music, dancing and old fashioned contests. The 6th Annual Quilt Show and Flea Market will also be held in conjunction with the fest at The Oaks Recreation & Fitness Center. We will be hosting the Country Concert from 5:00pm to 11:00pm featuring “Crazy Talk” who offers a high energy stage show and extensive show list.
