We are very excited to announce that Édouard Manet’s The Railway will be on view starting December 5th. On loan from the National Gallery of Art in Washington, this dramatic work presents Manet’s characteristic brushwork and his ground-breaking portrayal of modern life at the edges of the largest and busiest train station in Paris at the time. More details, including information on some terrific programs and events were organizing, will follow.
