We are very far from the galaxies, the stars and the possibility of meeting other forms of life, not because the stars are far away from us, but because we stopped searching for them. A long time ago, we used to believe the world was flat, that if you sailed off, youd fall off the earth. And its not until we were curious and courageous enough to do so that we have shrunken the world and now, we fly around in jet planes every single day. We cannot become too comfortable and too easily pleased with the rock objects and the nonsense distractions of this world. There are oceans of stars and galaxies that we have yet to explore, even though this may sound as stupid as believing back then that the world was round. We ought to look up at the stars again, we ought to begin dreaming and believing again, not just in whats out there, but in ourselves. We have to believe that we have the capacity to find out whats beyond the stars, and only then, we may have a chance. I leave you with a video of one of my favorite people who lived a life to study, practice and teach to others, Alan Watts. There are a ton on YouTube on him. He had a very unique perspective of the world and he was so great with words and explaining things by making them relevant.
