We are very proud of our 3 new wooden picks. The original (thin multi ply maple), Jazz (solid Chillakwian Maple), Power (1.5mm 3 ply Walnut). Years of research and development have yielded a pick with 3 distinct tones: 1 New hard edge for crisp attack. 2″Worn in” edge, once the edge is worn to your playing style, the fibre layer between the wood has a soft “finger like” tone. The pick can be flipped between these two sounds very quickly. 3 90degree cross grain has a rosin bow like sound that is amazing for pinch harmonics. Another attribute of our Power 1.5mm picks and Jazz mini picks is its ability to wick moisture from your hand. The final piece of the puzzle is the complex hole in the centre of the pick (maple leaf). This hole stops the pick from spinning, adds flexibility, and grip.
