We are very thankful to our Kashmiri youth, Local police and Sikh brethren who made every endeavour to rescue flood victims irrespective of religion and caste. Although they had no choppers and were lacking in many equipments like rafts and life saving jackets etc yet they put their lives in danger and rescued many people.. However, we must not ignore efforts made by Indian Army to rescue a lot of tourists and Labourers living outside the valley....Besides few locals of Rajbagh, jawhar nagar and Gogji bagh were also rescued to prove that Kashmir is an integral part of India...and the rescue operation was given an ample coverage on all the news channels of India... We express our commiserations on misfortune of all those who lost their lives and property,,.May Allah give them patience to bear this irreparable loss..Ameen
