We are working on getting Chipper a quad wheelchair to see if - TopicsExpress

We are working on getting Chipper a quad wheelchair to see if this gets him mobile. He is healthy besides the cerebellar hypoplasia, which means a part of his brain was not formed properly at birth. This controls his balance and coordination. Chipper does tell you when he needs to go to the bathroom. We have learned he has been like this since birth. When asked about quality of life, our neurologist reminded us that Chipper doesn’t know his life any other way. Chipper lived with a cat and another dog. We still desperately need a family for Chipper. He is definitely a handicapped pet and will need a special family. We will probably consider homes outside of our area as well because they are hard to find. If you are interested in Chipper, please contact Lynette or message us at [email protected].
