We at SOS know Saturdays are filled with obligations - sports, shopping and so many other activities. But it is imperative you take time out to attend the School District Deliberative Session, this Saturday, February 1, at Lions Hall, starting at 9 a.m. Please know that while it would be great for you to attend the whole meeting, you can come and go to attend to your errands. But listen folks, there is someone who is going to try to gut this proposed budget which is already bare bones. She can do this at this meeting without enough people there to vote for her proposed changes. We believe that will have disastrous repercussions for our kids and our schools which are already suffering under the current default budget. Please, please. no matter where you stand, if youre a parent, teacher or just a good citizen of Hudson, show up at this very, very, very important meeting on Saturday.
