We begin our trek home today. We will fly out from Macedonia this morning and to Germany and stay the night there. Then tomorrow (Sunday) morning we fly to the states. We absolutely love it here and all the people, but still long for home and all the kids! So glad we chose to come here! God has blessed us tremendously and has given us many new friends. We have had so many invites to come back and stay with different people, it is a little overwhelming. No one here is shy either (like me) when it comes to greeting you. Everyone (young and old) here greets you with a hand shake immediately when they see you and a lot of them will hug you too! I am just not use to that, but could easily come accustom to it. :) On the funny side......Shawn has had more salad here then I think he has eaten all year at home. :) Macedonians love veggies! There is salad with every meal (except breakfast). Most restaurants have a very long list of salads on their menus and then a few meats for the side. Salads are the meals here, not the sides.
