We bid goodbye to the tugboat Johnson -- but know it is going to a good home -- the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will give give the tug new life as Moe Johnson in Barnbstable County, Mass. The Corps had used the tug to support maintenance of our Intercoastal Waterway project -- it was named Johnson after a relative of a current employee (Hubert Johnson) who passed away while working on the Atlantic Intra-Coastal Waterway project. It will carry on the service supporting dredging for the FWS, and will be named after a former FWS employee who started the dredge program in that area of Mass.
